Radiant9canine is service dog specific company that trains services dogs for a wide variety of disabilities. We are a board and train based program with customizable programs to fit each handler and dogs individual needs. We train dogs that handlers already have, help handlers pick the perfect prospect, and offer continued help and support to teams all over the country.
Service dogs and service dogs in training that are sent to us for training come from as close to an hour away in Florida to across the country.
R9C Service dogs are individually trained to perform tasks such as:
Walking with and beside a wheelchair or walker
pulling off socks and sweaters
Turning lights on and off
retrieving dropped items
opening and closing doors
barking to alert for help in emergencies
Pressing elevator buttons
Radiant9canine is a LIMA based business. LIMA stands for Least Invasive Minimally Aversive. LIMA starts and uses positive reinforcement and aims to set humane and effective ways of training and achieving a goal. This type of training focuses solely on what individual dog needs, customizing the training to specifically the dog in front of us. Every dog learns different, so they need a different program than the dog before them.
